Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars is one of the most beloved musical artists of his generation, selling over 30 million records worldwide and winning numerous accolades – including 12 Grammys! His music is beloved among fans thanks to its catchy melodies and infectious rhythms; plus he’s collaborated with other great musicians.
Born Peter Gene Hernandez in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mars began performing as an Elvis impersonator with his family band at age four. Additionally he is an accomplished singer and pianist possessing three octave tenor vocal range.
He has collaborated with other musical artists as part of The Smeezingtons production team. His albums Unorthodox Jukebox and Uptown Funk! both earned multiple Grammy awards; additional honors followed suit, among others.
SB19
SB19, an award-winning Filipino boy band, will perform in Dubai this November! Comprised of Pablo, Josh, Stella, Ken and Justin they will perform at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Oud Metha.
Their debut single, “TILALUHA,” reached number two on Billboard’s Social 50 chart – marking a first for Filipino and Southeast Asian artists on such an influential chart.
SB19 are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian boy band nominated for a Billboard Music Award as Top Social Artist, after three years of training without getting paid. Their influences include second-generation boy groups like VIXX and GOT7 as well as Filipino hip-hop artists Loonie and Gloc-9 (both Filipino hip-hop artists from the Philippines). SB19’s latest EP, PAGTATAG!, is set to break boundaries by offering new sounds and genres.
IVE
Manila is home to a wide range of higher education institutions. These schools range from public universities and private colleges, and offer courses on an array of subjects including arts and sciences, business studies, engineering, computer science and more. Many also feature research facilities or labs.

Rising K-pop girl group IVE will perform in the Philippines this June as part of their 2023 world tour. Debuting in 2021 with their single “Eleven”, this award-winning K-pop group now comprises members Yujin, Wonyoung, Rei, Liz, and Leeseo.
WOODZ
In February, WOODZ released “Abyss”, a slow and soothing track which explores comfort and self-love. Soon thereafter he announced his 2023 World Tour [OO-LI], an endeavor which seeks to show all his fans just how formidable his musical prowess truly is.
At his show, the crowd enthusiastically showed their appreciation and sang along to every note he performed – including an unexpected rendition of his hit single ‘Bump Bump’ which left him completely overwhelmed by their energy.
PH MOODZ were fortunate enough to see it first-hand from their front row seats, as he dazzled the audience with his vocal and dancing talents, not to mention his engaging personality and engagement throughout his concert, listening and responding to requests as well as taking selfies with them all – an obvious sign of his devotion and appreciation for his followers.
NIKI
NIKI of 88rising will perform in Manila 2023 as part of her ‘Nicole’ World Tour. She announced these dates via social media channels and the website of 88rising.

Kodaline
After an extended lull caused by Covid-19 restrictions, concerts are back in full force in Asia, drawing massive crowds to see artists like South Korean mega-group BLACKPINK and American alt-pop sensation Billie Eilish perform live.
Irish rock band Kodaline also deserves mention here, having initially gained notoriety under their original moniker of 21 Demands before becoming more widely renowned under their current moniker of Kodaline.
Modern rock band Coldplay are beloved among Filipino fans and have made several trips to the Philippines since 2002. On September 14, they’ll perform at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang under Karpos Multimedia and ticket availability can be found through Tickelo. Their latest album release was One Day at a Time which followed on from their previous effort Politics of Living.
ATEEZ
Manila, the Philippine’s capital city on an island in the South China Sea, is renowned for its Spanish colonial architecture – especially San Agustin Church and Fort Santiago as former citadels – as well as being an industrial center producing tobacco, food and lumber products.
South Korean boy band ATEEZ recently performed at Araneta Coliseum as part of their world tour The Fellowship: Break the Wall. Members Wooyoung, Seonghwa, San, Mingi Hongjoong Yeosang and Yunho delivered an energetic performance that left audiences wanting more!
The boys performed popular songs from their repertoire such as “WIN,” “Dazzling Light,” “MIST,” Aurora” and ‘THANXX,” among others, and thanked their Filipino ATINYs for supporting them and promised they’d return soon. Super Junior returned to the Philippines on July 21, for a fan party event held at Araneta Coliseum. These Hallyu royalty have planned an unforgettable show featuring 10 stunning performances, fun games, insightful talk segments, and an unexpected encore performance!
K-pop superstars Super Junior are best known for their catchy dance tracks and emotive ballads, as well as side projects such as K.R.Y and D&E subunits. Their discography spans 10 years.
Super Junior D&E recently released a documentary that chronicled their journey from debut to stardom, while planning two visits each to Australia and New Zealand over November and December as part of their 2023 Delight Party world tour. Furthermore, two shows will also take place in Mexico.
Peach Tree Rascals
UMI made her Philippine stage debut, captivating audiences with her soothing Neo soul melodies such as the timeless hit, “Remember Me.” From there to recent tracks such as “Forest in the City”, UMI brought an atmosphere that brought everyone back down to Earth – literally!
Peach Tree Rascals brought warmth and positivity to CU Boulder campus with their one-night performance of Peach Tree Rascals. Comprised of producer/mixer Dominic Pizano, rapper-singers Issac Abdel-Khaliq and Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq Abdel-Khaliq Abdel-Khaliq Abdel-Khaliq Abdel-Khaliq Abdel-Khaliq alongside creative director Jorge Olazaba; California-based band has created tunes about young love that have taken off on TikTok.
Emerging indie group MNDR maintained an air of relaxation throughout their hit songs, often laughing and joking with each other and photographers alike. Their relaxed demeanor served to elevate their songs’ quality and broaden cross-genre appeal.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter, best known for her roles on Disney Channel comedy series Girl Meets World and in the movie Adventures in Babysitting, will bring her emails i can’t send tour to Manila this July 25. As part of its Asia leg, Carpenter will perform her hit single ‘Looking at Me’ at New Frontier Theater on 25 July.
Manila is an eclectic city home to multiple religions, languages and cultures that come together under its unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, however, such diversity has created issues like crime, poverty and slum areas for its large population. Although services for the poor have been made available within Manila’s boundaries, some still squat publically without permission, which poses a major problem that must be resolved immediately; there are programs available in order to assist such people.
